WISIONS Innovation Lab in Nepal
The WISIONS Innovation Lab (IL) project, implemented in Nepal by Winrock International in collaboration with RECOFTC Nepal and PEEDA, is an action-oriented initiative aimed at strengthening rural livelihoods through the integration of decentralized renewable energy (DRE) solutions and sustainable natural resource management practices. The project is supported by the Wuppertal Institute, Germany, under its broader mission of promoting sustainable development and energy transitions in remote mountain regions. Through Phases I–III, the project implemented a series of targeted interventions aimed at demonstrating scalable and sustainable models. As the project moves into Phase IV, primarily aimed at disseminating learning from Phase III, the focus has shifted towards consolidation, validation, and national-level dissemination of the learnings, impacts and policy insights generated over previous phases.
