Winrock International (WI), with its partners, is implementing a four-year (2014-2017) project “Sustainable Production of Commercially Viable Products from Municipal wastes through Public-Private Partnership in Green Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Green City, Green Agro Products, and Green Employment Generation (PPP for 4Gs)” in Ilam Municipality. The main objective of the project is to pioneer an innovative Public–Private–Partnership (PPP) between Ilam Municipality and the private sector, which will fuel commercially-driven cycle of solid waste management.
