Preparation of Project Design Document of Hulas Steel Industries Ltd.

Hulas Steel Industries Ltd. (HSIL) is one of the manufacturers of cold rolled sheet, roofing sheet, pipe fittings, steel pipes, steel structures and poles under the umbrella of Golchha Organization Group. The factory of HSIL is located in Simra VDC, Bara District, Nepal. In the galvanizing furnace and hot air generators for colour coating process HSIL has been using fossil fuel. HSIL has installed environment friendly rice husk based gasification system to generate producer gas.

HSIL had already developed PIN and assigned Winrock International to develop Project Design Document (PDD) in order to develop this as a CDM project for carbon credit either for voluntary market or compliance market
