The meeting with the political parties was conducted on 17th April. Representatives from 12 political parties were present in the program. The program was chaired by Executive Officer of the Ilam Municipality, Mr. Lok Bahadur Bhandari. The meeting was facilitated by Mr. Suman Dhakal, PlaNet Finance and Mr. Dipendra Bhattarai, Winrock International. Mr. Dipendra Bhattarai highlighted the features of the PPP for 4Gs project. He also briefed about how this project was selected among 1200 applicants in the SWITCH ASIA program. The political parties were also made clear about the project modality in which the project specially focuses on Tole Lane Organizations (TLOs) mobilization to reach each and every household of the Ilam Municipality. Similarly, the Executive Officer also highlighted the contribution to be made by the municipality in the project. The modality of the project was also defined to the political parties in which the role of project partners was clearly defined which was followed by discussion among the participants.
