Binod Prasad Shrestha, Team Leader of MCA-Nepal Capacity Building Activities to Enhance the Electricity Use Project, has over 25 years of experience in project development, planning, designing, due diligence, and climate change. He has vast experience in supporting three level governments in policy formulation, planning, budgeting, and monitoring of projects. He was involved in developing tools, guidelines, methodologies, and innovative financing models, facilitating private and public investments, developing loan products for financial institutions, and enhancing the capacity development of stakeholders.  Furthermore, he has experience in Access to Finance particularly energy financing of private sector projects, microfinance for low-income groups, and financing income generation activities through different business models focusing on green growth. He has experience working with the Public and Private Sector, Financial Institutions, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, EU, GIZ including IKI Small Grant, Private Financing Advisory Network, and other donor-funded projects.
