KEVA Launches New 4-Wheel EV
Kathmandu Electric Vehicle Alliance (KEVA) has been promoting activities to reduce vehicular emissions in Kathmandu by promoting the use of zero emission vehicles in Nepal. Electric vehicles are zero emission, and utilize Nepal's natural resource of energy - hydropower. A larger role of electric vehicles in Kathmandu Valley will help improve the capital's deteriorating air quality. KEVA marks the completion of three and a half years of working to improve the air of Kathmandu Valley with the launch of a new 4-wheel EV, and 2 workshops highlighting KEVA achievements.
