FORESTRY AND NATURAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Through policy and action research, awareness building, and capacity building of local communities, Winrock's Forestry and Natural Resources Management (FNRM) Program strives to innovate, test, and implement successful models of natural resource management that would lead to their sustainable use, maximize socio-economic and environmental benefits, ensure equitable sharing of benefits, lead to improved governance, promote social inclusion, augment social capital, and promote peace in the society.
The program generates research on various aspects of natural resource management, works to create awareness of related issues, builds capacities of individuals and institutions managing natural resources, and promotes equity and social inclusion.
